Tikkun Leil Shavuos and Hoshana Rabbah , Zhitomir, printed by the Shapira brothers, 1866. Rare Edition Tikkun Leil Shavuos and Hoshana Rabbah “based on... found in the Sefer Shelah, and with the kavanos of the Divine Names.” Rare edition. Zhitomir, printed by Harav Chanina Lipa and Harav Yehoshua Heshel Shapira, grandsons of the Slavita Rav and Harav Pinchas of Koretz. 1866. 2–167 leaves. This copy is lacking the first title page and the final leaf. 21 cm. Antique binding (appears to be half leather), detached and worn. Several of the first leaves detached. Stains, with very few wormholes and tears. The final leaf has adhesive repairs and tears, with some loss affecting the leaf and text. Condition: Fair–Good. Books printed in Zhitomir and Slavita by the descendants of Harav Pinchas of Koretz were accorded special sanctity. The printing equipment and type were immersed in a mikveh before the printing process began. Possessing these sacred books was also traditionally regarded as a segulah for protection of the home and for success. תיקון ליל שבועות והושענא רבא, זיטאמיר, בדפוס הרבנים שפירא, תרכ”ו 1866. מהדורה נדירה סדר 'תיקון ליל שבועות והושענא רבא', ”על פי הסדר מספר של”ה, וכוונות השמות”. מהדורה נדירה. זיטומיר, בדפוס רבי חנינא ליפא ורבי יהושע העשיל שפירא נכדי הרה”ק מסלאוויטא והרה”ק רבי פנחס מקאריץ. תרכ”ו 1866. ב' - קס”ז דף; עותק זה חסר שער שער ראשון ודף אחרון. 21 ס”מ. כריכה עתיקה(נראית חצי עור) מנותקת ובלויה. מספר דפים ראשונים. כתמים ומעט מאוד נקבי עש וקרעים. בדף אחרון הדבקות וקרעים עם מעט חסר מהדף והטקסט. מצב בינוני - טוב. לספרי זיטאמיר וסלאוויטא שנדפסו ע”י צאצאי הרה”ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ, הייתה קדושה מיוחדת, כלי הדפוס והאותיות הוטבלו במקווה לפני המלאכה, ואף החזקת ספרים קדושים אלו ידועה כסגולה לשמירת הבית ולהצלחה.
