Kehillos Moshe , Amsterdam, 1724/1728. Set of 4 large volumes of Tanach Mikraos Gedolos , compiled by publisher and Dayan Harav Moshe Frankfurt. Antique signatures The Kehillos Moshe Mikraos Gedolos —Torah, Nevi'im, and Kesuvim, with commentaries, published by Dayan Harav Moshe Frankfurt [1678–1768], one of the dayanim of Amsterdam. Frankfurt published numerous books both in his own press and in other printing houses, and authored and edited several important works. This important edition contains numerous commentaries and works by Gedolei Yisrael, some of them appearing in print for the first time in this edition. The edition also reproduces the Masorah Gedolah and Masorah Ketanah, with a number of errors found in them corrected. Amsterdam, 1724/1728. Complete set, four parts in four volumes, exceptionally large format. Specifications:  A. Torah: 1724. [10], 293, [2] leaves. B. Nevi'im Rishonim: 1726. [2], 46, [4], 47–378 leaves. C. Nevi'im Acharonim: 1727. [2], 322 leaves. D. Kesuvim: 1728. [5], 413 [should read: 415], 65 leaves. In this copy, the 65 leaves of the Masorah Gedolah were bound at the end of Part I rather than at the end of Part IV. In addition, three leaves containing the introductions to Even Yechaya, Ohev Mishpat, and Mishpat Tzedek were bound between leaves 188 and 189 in Part IV. Antique signatures : “ Chaneini Hashem gam bazeh , Hakatan Meir son of... Bendet Goldschmidt”; “This book belongs to Hakatan Leib, son of... Anshel Nijmengen, purchased it from Raphael bar Kalonymus.” Condition: Handsome leather bindings, slightly worn, with one binding partially detached. Wide sheets. Age stains. Tears and a few isolated holes. Overall Condition: Good - Very Good.
