Complete copy, collated leaf by leaf! Shnei Luchos HaBris by Harav Yeshayah HaLevi Horowitz—the Shelah HaKadosh, with Vavei HaAmudim by Harav Sheftel, son of the Shelah. First Edition . Amsterdam, 1648/1649. [3], 2–421, [1]; 44 leaves; 30 cm. Complete copy, collated leaf by leaf. This is the first printing of one of the most important foundational works and one of the holiest books to become known throughout the Jewish world. Leaf 258b contains Tefillas HaShelah, the Shelah’s famous prayer for children, traditionally recited on Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan, followed by the prayer for livelihood traditionally recited on Erev Rosh Chodesh Nisan. Antique half-leather binding, detached and slightly damaged. Adhesive repairs to the title page and several leaves after it, with some damage and loss affecting the text. Stains, mostly minor. A few tears and some worming damage. [3] ב'-תכא [1]; מד דף; 30 ס”מ. עותק שלם, נבדק דף דף!!  לפנינו הדפסה ראשונה של אחד מספרי היסוד החשובים ביותר ומהספרים המקודשים שנודעו בכל תפוצות ישראל. בדף רנח, ב' מובאת תפילת השל”ה - התפילה המפורסמת על הצאצאים הנהוג לאומרה בער”ח סיון, ולאחריה התפילה לפרנסה הנהוג לאומרה בער”ח ניסן. כריכה חצי עור עתיקה מנותקת ומעט פגועה. הדבקות בשער ובמספר דפים אחריו עם מעט פגיעות וחסר בטקסט. כתמים ברובם קלים. מעט קרעים ונזקי עש. באופן כללי מצב טוב.
