Murano Mid-Century Modern Art Glass Fashion Boot Vase - A single decorative sculpture or vase attributed to Murano, Italy, dating to the Mid-Century Modern period. The piece is crafted from hand-blown glass and formed in the shape of a high-heeled fashion boot. The body features a striking vertical swirling pattern, reminiscent of Op Art or Martele techniques, executed in opaque white and a deep, glossy reddish-brown/black coloration. The sole and toe section are formed from clear glass, and the block heel is solid dark glass. A yellow adhesive auction label reading 206 11 is affixed to the upper shaft. Height: 13 inches
