The knife features a long, straight-backed steel blade with a blackened finish on the upper portion and a polished cutting edge. The blade is marked DUKU near the ricasso. The handle is constructed of dark wooden scales secured by circular brass pins. A decorative twisted brass wire band is present near the bolster.
