Elongated Carved and Polychrome Painted Wooden Mask - A single, elongated carved wooden mask featuring a highly stylized face with exaggerated, geometric features. The mask is decorated with polychrome paint, primarily in reddish-brown, black, and red, with details in blue and white around the eyes and facial markings. The piece extends into a long, tapering neck and body section, terminating in a narrow, rounded base. The top of the mask is surmounted by a complex, geometric finial decorated with a black and red diamond pattern. The interior is roughly carved and hollowed. A crude wire is attached to the interior for hanging purposes. Visible markings include a blue tape band bearing the number 31 applied near the face and a green sticker marked 206 affixed to the reverse neck section. Total Length: 32 inches
