A Pair of US 1917 and 1917-S Mercury Silver Dimes - This lot consists of two US Mercury (Winged Liberty Head) dimes, each composed of 90% silver. One specimen is a 1917 issue from the Philadelphia Mint, featuring no mint mark. The second specimen is a 1917-S issue from the San Francisco Mint, with a visible S mint mark on the lower left of the reverse. Both coins feature the Winged Liberty Head design on the obverse and a Roman fasces with an olive branch on the reverse. The coins are presented in individual white cardboard 2x2 flips with handwritten descriptions noting the date and metal composition.
