Imperial Glass Emerald Green Glass Rooster on Nest Covered Dish - A two piece pressed glass covered dish in the form of a rooster on a nest, produced by the Imperial Glass Corporation. The piece is crafted from translucent emerald green glass. The lid is molded in the shape of a rooster with detailed feathering, a prominent comb, and high curved tail feathers. The oval base features a basketweave pattern and a scalloped rim composed of interlaced loops. A raised Imperial Glass mark, consisting of a vertical I superimposed over a capital G, is located in the center of the base interior. Length: 5.5 inches Height: 4.75 inches.
