US 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar - A US Morgan silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1887. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the Morgan Liberty head design, inscribed with LIBERTY on the headband and E PLURIBUS UNUM along the upper rim, dated 1887 at the base. The reverse features the Heraldic Eagle design, inscribed UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR, with the motto In God we trust in Gothic script. The coin features a reeded edge and displays strong original mint luster.
