A Pair of US 90% Silver Mercury Dimes, 1934 and 1943-D - A pair of United States 10-cent silver coins, commonly known as Mercury or Winged Liberty Head dimes. Each coin is composed of 90% silver. The obverse of each specimen features a profile of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap, with the transcribed inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, and the dates 1934 and 1943. A monogram composed of the letters A and W is visible in the field behind the neck. The reverse displays a central fasces and olive branch with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DIME along the rim, and E PLURIBUS UNUM in the right field. The 1943 coin bears a small character D to the left of the fasces base, denoting the Denver Mint. The 1934 coin has no mint mark, identifying it as a product of the Philadelphia Mint.
