1952-S US Franklin Silver Half Dollar - A US Franklin half dollar dated 1952 and struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features a right-facing bust of Benjamin Franklin with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1952. The reverse depicts the Liberty Bell and a small eagle, with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. A small impressed capital letter S mint mark is located on the reverse, positioned above the yoke of the Liberty Bell. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. It is housed in a clear plastic circular capsule.
