A Pair of 1943-D US Mercury Silver Dimes - A pair of US 90% silver dimes dated 1943. Each coin features the Winged Liberty Head obverse design, commonly referred to as the Mercury dime. The obverse legends include the incised characters LIBERTY around the upper perimeter, IN GOD WE TRUST in the lower right field, and the date 1943 at the bottom. The reverse displays a central fasces entwined with an olive branch, surrounded by the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DIME. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is positioned in the right field. Both specimens bear an impressed D mint mark located on the reverse to the left of the base of the fasces, signifying production at the Denver Mint. The coins feature reeded edges.
