19th Century English Painted and Glazed Three-Drawer Chest - An English mid-nineteenth-century chest of drawers, fitted with three full-width graduated drawers and raised on bracket feet with shaped inner returns. The drawers are hand-dovetailed and hung with oval stamped brass pulls. The chest retains a later painted and glazed surface, probably twentieth century, with strong wear and vivid autumnal color that gives the piece a striking decorative presence.
