Watercolor and ink on paper, depicting a mouse on a table beside a small wirework cage or trap, framed within a green circular border. The sheet is inscribed above and below with a playful verse reading: “This pretty mansion, Mouseum-Souris Hall, Is now on sale and may be viewed by all, Lift up the latch and you may view the house, But with due caution lest you scare a Mouse.” Housed in an old giltwood frame. 10 3/8 in.
