Art Nouveau French Bronze Sculpture of Putto by Charles Korschann - Charles Korschann Czech, 1872–1943 Putto Riding on a Doe Medium-brown patinated bronze on original marble base Signed “CH. KORRSCHANN.”; Louchet foundry cachet Lifetime Art Nouveau period bronze cast of Putto Riding a Doe by Charles Korschann, depicting a putto holding a small harp while seated on a doe. Medium-brown translucent patina, raised on the original marble base. Korschann worked primarily in Paris and exhibited at the Société des Artistes Français from 1894 to 1905. He was awarded a bronze medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle.
