Handwoven in an antique Oushak manner, with a large-scale medallion and angular palmette design on a deep red field, enclosed by a soft beige border with stylized floral and vine motifs. The palette of red, taupe, cream, muted gold, and grey-green gives the carpet the aged decorative character associated with antique Anatolian Oushak carpets, while the open drawing and softened coloration make it especially suitable for furnishing use. 121 in.
