During World War I, the French military contracted Spanish firearms manufacturers to produce .32 ACP pistols as supplements to standard military revolvers. These Spanish-manufactured pistols became known as ”Ruby” type, named after the most famous maker. Cebra was one of the Spanish producers fulfilling this wartime contract. This example features original grips—significant for authenticity, as many Ruby-type pistols had replacements over their century-long history. Includes one magazine and 3” barrel typical of Ruby-type configuration. Serial number 45359 indicates wartime production. Displays 50% condition with honest wear reflecting WWI and post-war use.
