Smith & Wesson Model 41 Semi-Automatic Target Pistol, .22 LR — Cocking Indicator Model - Smith & Wesson Model 41 single-action semi-automatic target pistol chambered in .22 LR, S/N A191235, manufactured circa early-to-mid 1970s. The Model 41 was introduced in 1957 as Smith & Wesson's premier competitive target pistol, designed with an 18-degree grip angle matching the Colt M1911 for a consistent hold. Features a 5.5” barrel with deep S&W blue finish retained in excellent condition throughout. Fitted with a Patridge-style undercut blade front sight and fully adjustable micrometer rear sight. Two-piece checkered walnut target grips with thumb shelf, showing crisp checkering. The cocking indicator — a small protruding pin at the rear of the grip frame — was discontinued around 1978, making this an increasingly sought-after feature among Model 41 collectors. Includes original factory box and two magazines. A fine example of one of America's most acclaimed target pistols in a desirable, period-correct configuration.
