Antique Oak Hoosier-Style Kitchen Cabinet - Antique oak Hoosier-style kitchen cabinet dating to the early 20th century. Features a large work surface with upper cabinet section having three doors, including two with decorative patterned glass panels, above an open work and storage area. Lower cabinet is fitted with a large paneled cupboard door and three drawers providing additional storage. Retains period-style hardware, wooden drawer pulls, decorative scalloped trim, and an attractive aged oak surface. A substantial example of early American kitchen furniture from the era when freestanding kitchen cabinets served as the household's primary food preparation and storage center. Shows expected wear, marks, surface variations, and imperfections consistent with age and use. No manufacturer's identification has been confirmed.
