WWI USMC INSCR. SHARPSHOOTER MEDAL HAITI SERVICE
World War One United States Marine Corps inscribed sharpshooter medal. The back of the suspension bar is engraved "Bert D. Porter" while the date "1917" is engraved on the back of the medal. It appears that the attachment has been replaced; Porter's service records indicate that he spent time at Paris Island, South Carolina as a shooting instructor and then served in Haiti during the Haitian Campaign. He re enlisted during WWII. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Monday, April 29th from 11 am to 3 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
