WWI PENNSYLVANIA NG PHOTO TEXAS MEXICAN BORDER
World War One full view outdoor photograph of a Pennsylvania National Guard soldier. The image is housed in a beautiful patriotic metal frame that still retains its original paint. A Pennsylvania "Keystone" insignia is affixed to the soldier's collar - a device that would have been worn up to the point that these National Guard soldiers were federalized for Mexican Border service.This photograph was most probably taken in Texas near the border or perhaps actually in Mexico. He wears a sheathed bolo knife. The image itself measures 4.25" x 6" while the frame measures 9.375" x 6.6255". WW1 - Mexican Border Service. In-house shipping is available.
