Civil War Officer Commission signed by Ohio Governor John Brough January 9,1864 shortly before he took office on January 11, 1864. This Commission appointed Joseph H. Brown as 1st Lieutenant in Co. E, 48th Ohio National Guard. Measurement in frame is 14" x 10.25". Overall excellent condition. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday Oct. 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
