CIVIL WAR 1862 ARMY REGS MANUAL 18TH KENTUCKY INF
Civil War 1861 Revised Regulations published in 1862 by J.B. Lippincott & Co. Philadelphia. The inside cover bears a beautiful period ink inscription that reads; "Presented to H. K. Milward Lieut. & Adjt 18th KY Vols by John W Louisville Ky Sept 15 1862". Lieutenant Hubbard K. Milward would rise to the the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and command the 18th Kentucky Infantry regiment from the Battle of Chickamauga through the end of the war. This manual - book is in overall excellent condition. The binding is tight and intact. The blank fly page lists a number of names written in pencil by Milward and the other side was used for mathematical computations. The top 1/5th of this page is torn off. There are no rips or missing pages. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday Oct. 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
