CIVIL WAR P.S. JUSTICE MODEL 1840 CAVALRY SABER
Model 1840 P.S. Justice Philadelphia Cavalry saber in untouched condition. Ricasso is stamped "P. S. Justice Philada". Justice made and imported Sabers in the early days of the war - The scabbard drag is stamped "S &_" designating the German manufacturer Schnitzler and Kirschbaum. Beneath that is the inspector's stamping "J. M." . P.S. Justice had an 1861 contract with the United States Government to provide 13,685 M1840 Cavalry sabers making this early saber one of the less common of the war. In-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday Oct. 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
