Our consignors grandfather Elza Eyman bought this truck new in 1934 as a chassis and front end for use as a school bus in Rushville, Ohio. That's how school buses started back then. They were then fitted with the bus body. The bus was in service for decades, and then the bus body was replaced with a flatbed and a 20s International cab and this truck was used on the farm. The bus body is long gone and not included! The truck was then parked in the barn. Our consignor, whose grandpa was the bus driver, got this driving again for a time in the 70s, and then it has sat in the barn since then. We pulled it out for the photos. It is really in great shape. Dusty dirty and old. Has an old early 1920s international cab on it as it never had a dodge cab. I put a photo in the listing of what the old buses looked like. We really don't see any significant rust or issues with this truck. It has lived indoors for a very long time. I would guess that it was kept in the barn its whole life. You'd be hard pressed to find a better more honest example. Odo reads 45733.4. See the video! Cash, wire or cashier's check only. No credit cards. Payment due by 5 pm on June 3.
