Gettysburg Battlefield Civil War Relic - 3-inch Shenkel Shell Fragment from Pickett's Charge (1936) - This item presents fragments of a 3-inch Shenkel Shell, a significant piece of Civil War history. These fragments were discovered in the area of Pickett's Charge on the Gettysburg Battlefield in 1936. The artifact carries a unique provenance, having been acquired in the early 1980s from an elderly gentleman residing on Baltimore Street in Gettysburg, who provided its detailed history at the time of purchase.
