The clock features a beautifully crafted wooden case with intricate carved details on its pediment top and sides, characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century American clockmaking. The front of the clock showcases a brass-bezelled dial with clear Roman numerals, marking the hours. Below the dial, a glass panel reveals the brass pendulum, often adorned with decorative etched designs on the glass itself. This clock is a fine example of a classic American shelf clock.
