A Group of Vintage Pulp Paper Mache Halloween Jack-O'-Lanterns - A Group of vintage pulp paper mache Halloween jack-o'-lanterns, likely dating from the 1930s-1950s. Both items are pumpkin-shaped, predominantly painted orange with sculpted facial features including eyes and open mouths, further detailed with painted accents. The smaller jack-o'-lantern features green paint around its base and eyebrows. The larger jack-o'-lantern includes a black wire bail handle and exhibits remnants of a white label on its base showing ”59¢” and the faint impression of ”HALLOWEEN” and ”MADE IN U.S.A.” Larger jack-o'-lantern: 9 inches (22.86 cm) tall Smaller jack-o'-lantern: 6 inches (15.24 cm) tall. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Wednesday, Oct. 29, from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
