A 1960s Harby Comet Clown Head Vending Machine - A 1960s Harby Comet Clown Head Vending Machine, designed as a vintage mechanical prize or gumball dispenser. The machine features a white painted metal cabinet adorned with scattered red, yellow, and blue polka dots. It is topped by a removable painted plaster or ceramic clown head with blue and red facial features and a ruffled collar. The front of the cabinet displays a clear panel, revealing an internal rotary dispenser wheel with several clear plastic capsules and a ”25¢” sticker. Below this, a metal coin mechanism and key lock are present. Internally, a plastic gear and belt drive system is visible, connected to a dispensing tube. A faded and creased instruction tag provides operational guidance for opening and closing the top, ensuring proper meshing of nylon gears, and filling the dispenser wheel. 13” W, 13” D, 48” T.
