Vintage 1930s Selected Devices Co. Coca-Cola 'Select O'clock' Advertising Wall Clock - A vintage electric advertising wall clock, identified as a 'Selector Clock' by Selected Devices Co., Inc., dating to the 1930s. The clock features a square-shaped dark stained wooden case with rounded corners. The white dial displays large black Arabic numerals and ”SELECT O'CLOCK” at the top. A prominent red central circle is emblazoned with ”DRINK Coca-Cola IN BOTTLES” and ”TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” in white script. ”SELECTED DEVICES CO., INC. NEW YORK, N.Y.” is printed at the bottom of the dial. The reverse of the clock reveals a brown bakelite movement housing with a ”HAND SET” knob and an attached two-prong electrical cord. An aged and torn paper ”IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS” label is present, detailing the item as a ”synchronous electric clock” from ”SELECTED DEVICES CO., INC.” (New York, N.Y. and Chicago, Ill.). A handwritten ”Z-266” sticker is also visible on the back panel. Approximately 16.5 x 16.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
