Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Conductor's Step Stool by Victor Cast Iron Company - A Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Conductor's Step Stool, manufactured by Victor Cast Iron Company. This industrial-style step stool is constructed from heavy-gauge metal, featuring a cast iron A-frame base and a studded metal plate for the top surface. The rectangular top has a uniform grid of raised circular studs for grip. The base is designed with large arched cutouts on the long sides and circular cutouts on the short ends. One end of the base bears prominent embossed ”C & O” initials, with ”CAR 17” painted in yellow below. The opposite end of the base features an attached rectangular plaque with faint embossed text, reading ”VICTOR CAST IRON COMPANY” over an illegible second line. The four corner feet are fitted with worn triangular rubber or composite pads. Length: 17 inches Width: 10.5 inches Height: 7.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
