A Collection of Vintage Automotive and Household Advertising, including a Master Mfg. Co. Oil Bottle and a Champion Spark Plug Display - A collection of vintage advertising and utility items. The most prominent piece is an oversized Champion spark plug advertising display, constructed from painted composite or plastic, featuring ”CHAMPION” branding in red and black. Accompanying this is a clear glass oil bottle, embossed with ”ONE LIQUID QUART” and ”SERIAL 5 H 4” on its side, and ”MANUFACTURED BY HAZEL ATLAS” at the base. It is fitted with a rusted metal pouring spout marked ”THE MASTER MFG. CO. LITCHFIELD, ILL. SEPT. 14, 1926”. Also included are group of plastic Texaco advertising signs on stands, each featuring the company's red star and green ”T” logo. Completing the set are two metal cans: a Pennzoil motor oil can with bright yellow graphics depicting owls and ”100% Pure Pennsylvania” and ”THE Tough-Film MOTOR OIL” branding, and a blue Maytag ”Fuel Mixing Can” from Newton, Iowa, with its original spout. Champion spark plug display: 23.5 inches (59.7 cm) tall Glass oil bottle with spout: 11-12 inches (27.9-30.5 cm) tall Texaco advertising signs: 9.5-10 inches (24.1-25.4 cm) tall Pennzoil motor oil can: 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall Maytag Fuel Mixing Can: 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall (including spout).
