A Collection of Antique American Halloween Postcards, Late 19th/Early 20th Century - A Group of antique American Halloween-themed postcards, each crafted from cardstock with vibrant color illustrations. The designs feature traditional Halloween imagery including witches, pumpkins, black cats, owls, and costumed figures. Some cards include verses or ”Hallowe'en” titles. One postcard, depicting dancing figures, has an undivided back, addressed to ”Master Llewellyn Horton,” and bears a 1-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp with a postmark likely pre-1907. The remaining three postcards feature divided back styles; one is marked ”Whitney Made” and another ”CORP. & NASH”. These three cards each bear a 1-cent George Washington stamp and visible postmarks, including one from ”FALCONER OCT 13 9 30AM N.Y.” addressed to ”Mrs. Georgia Danielson.” All visible text is in English.. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Wednesday, Oct. 29, from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
