A J. & E. Stevens ”Two Frogs” Cast Iron Mechanical Bank - A J. & E. Stevens ”Two Frogs” cast iron mechanical bank, depicting a large frog with prominent yellow eyes observing a smaller frog, both resting on a textured base designed to resemble grass or a log. A coin slot is present on the back of the larger frog. The base features a coin access cover with a keyhole mechanism. Faint cast lettering on the underside reads ”PAT'D DEC. 190.” and ”U.S.A.”, consistent with an early 20th-century American manufacture. Length: 8.5 inches Height: 4.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Wednesday, Oct. 29, from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
