This figural mechanical bank depicts a seated bulldog with a studded collar, rendered in painted cast iron and mounted on a rectangular base. The object's underside is stamped ”PAT. APR 27 1880”, and the key plate reveals the manufacturer's name ”J. & E. STEVENS”. The front of the base prominently displays ”BULL DOG BANK” in red lettering. The bulldog sits upon a blue blanket. Height: 5.75 inches Length: 5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
