J. E. Stevens 'Chief Big Moon' Cast Iron Mechanical Bank - A J. E. Stevens 'Chief Big Moon' cast iron mechanical bank, depicting a Native American figure poised to spear a frog in a pond, positioned beside a teepee. The item retains remnants of original polychrome paint in greens, browns, yellow, and red. Embossed markings visible on the side panel read ”CHIEF BIG MOON,” while the perforated underside shows ”PAT APL'D FOR.” The circular coin trap cover on the bottom is marked ”J. & E.S.” and ”PAT. FEB 2, 189[X],” indicating a probable manufacturing date of 1892. Length: 10 inches Height: 6 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
