A Pair of Rushton Company Rubber Face Santa Claus Figures, circa 1950s-1960s - A Pair of Rushton Company Rubber Face Santa Claus Figures, dating to the mid-20th century, likely 1950s-1960s. The larger figure features a hard plastic or composition face with painted blue eyes, red cheeks, and lips, complemented by a white faux fur beard and hair. It is dressed in a red velvet-like suit with white faux fur trim, a black plastic or faux leather belt with a silver-tone buckle, and fabric hands. Its rigid black boots, likely vinyl or oilcloth over a stiff base, have fabric toes and felt soles. The smaller figure also presents a hard plastic or composition face with similar painted features and a white faux fur beard. It is attired in a red felt or flannel-like suit with white felt trim, a black belt, black fabric mittens, and black felt feet with visible red stitching. No manufacturer's marks or identifying text are visible on either item. Larger figure: 24 inches (60.96 cm) Smaller figure: 22 inches (55.88 cm). Burns in-house shipping is available.
