A Collection of Vintage Mid-20th Century Christmas Santa Claus Figures, including an Alps Happy Santa Drummer - A collection of vintage Christmas Santa Claus figures, primarily dating to the mid-20th century. The lot features an Alps ”Happy Santa Claus Drummer” mechanical, battery-operated tinplate and fabric-dressed figure, marked ”TRADE MARK ALPS MADE IN JAPAN” on its base, depicting Santa drumming on a decorated tin drum kit. Also included is a second mechanical, battery-operated tinplate and fabric-dressed Santa figure, marked ”COPYRIGHT 1960 BY NOEL DECORATIONS, INC.” and ”ATC JAPAN,” portraying Santa emerging from a tinplate house chimney, with battery instructions for ”UM-1 1.5V” cells. The collection further comprises a larger blow-molded plastic Santa figurine with a coin slot on its back, suggesting it functions as a bank, and several smaller static Santa figurines. These smaller figures are dressed in red felt and faux fur with plastic or composition faces, holding various accessories such as bells, miniature gifts, and tiny figures.
