A Large Howell's Molds Ceramic Christmas Tree Lamp, Dated 1979 - A large ceramic Christmas tree lamp by Howell's Molds, dated 1979. The lamp is composed of a dark green glazed ceramic tree top with a heavily textured pine needle design and numerous perforations for decorative inserts. It rests on a complementary round, faceted ceramic base housing the internal light fixture. The tree top bears impressed markings ”©HOWELL'S MOLDS 1979” and ”NM.” Accompanying the lamp are multiple plastic bags containing various plastic decorative inserts, including clear faceted pegs, green leaf shapes, clear holly leaves, red ”berries,” and a red star tree topper. Some of these bags are labeled ”A ROBIN PRODUCTS, DIV. OF LAMP SPECIALTIES, INC. MILLBURN, N.J. 07041.” The electrical components, including a bulb socket and wiring, are present in the base, with a light bulb installed. Height (tree top): 26 inches Diameter (base): 16 inches.
