A Large Collection of Black and White Promotional Movie and Music Publicity Photographs, 8x10 inches - A large collection of black and white photographic prints, predominantly 8x10 inches in size, comprising promotional movie and music publicity photographs. The prints, mostly glossy, represent a wide range of subjects and periods, including promotional photographs for late 1980s to early 1990s musical artists such as J. J. FAD, MC Lyte & DJ K-Rock, Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock, and New City Rockers, often bearing record label logos like ATCO, Profile Records Inc., and Critique Records. Also present are portraits of individuals and groups, some identifiable as composers (Dominick Argento, Robert Capanna, Lou Harrison, Aaron Copland) from a 1987/group of AT&T American Encore series, and a mix of other subjects including a 1951 Paramount Pictures Corporation film still for ”The Mating Season,” an illustration for ”The Great American Dream Machine” from NET/Thirteen circa 1971, and older portraits, including by ”John G. Rood Hollywood.” Visible text also includes ”Made in U.S.A.,” QANTAS, and TEAC. The collection is loosely stacked within a standard corrugated cardboard box, along with some yellowed paper documents or sleeves. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
