A Collection of German and International Promotional Movie Publicity Materials, Late 20th Century - This lot comprises a collection of approximately 20-30 large format paper-based film promotional materials, including what appear to be posters, program booklets, and publicity photos, housed within a standard brown corrugated cardboard ”movers box.” The items are predominantly printed in a glossy or semi-glossy finish, featuring full-color photographic and illustrative artwork. Visible titles include ”DIE HOLLE VON TOKIO” (The Hell of Tokyo), ”JOHN BOORMAN'S 'THE EMERALD FOREST'” (German title: ”DER SMARAGDWALD” - The Emerald Forest), ”KICKBOXER 5” starring Mark Dacascos (also appearing as ”THE REDEMPTION” and noting ”Der Hohepunkt der Kickboxer-Saga” - The climax of the Kickboxer saga), ”EAT THE RICH”, ”Der Durchdreher” (The Nutcase/The Flaker), ”DER EWIGE KAFIG” (The Eternal Cage), ”RUSSKIES”, and ”EDITH'S TAGEBUCH” (Edith's Diary). The visible films suggest a period from the late 1960s through the mid-1990s, with a significant presence of 1980s and 1990s action and drama films, many bearing German titles or descriptive text, along with barcodes and ”marketing film” branding.
