A Collection of Film Publicity Materials, 1939-Early 2000s - A substantial collection of film publicity materials, primarily housed within a ”Bankers Box” labeled ”3 B,” a smaller cardboard box, and a green binder. The collection comprises numerous manila envelopes, hand-labeled with various movie titles including ”Bicentennial Man,” ”Witch Project 2: Book of Shadows,” ”Big Bad Mama (1974),” ”The Big Easy,” ”Badge 373 (1973),” ”Blood Brothers (1978),” and ”Blind Alley (1939).” These envelopes contain a quantity of color and black-and-white photographic film stills and lobby cards, often featuring movie titles, cast names such as Robin Williams, Dennis Quaid, and Ellen Barkin, and director credits including Joe Berlinger and Jim McBride. Copyright notices, such as ©Miramax and ©2000 Columbia Pictures, are visible on some items. The collection also includes sheets of 35mm film slides, notably for ”Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey” starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. Visible foreign language titles include ”L'Homme Bicentenaire” (The Bicentennial Man, French), ”El Libro de las Sombras BW2” (The Book of Shadows BW2, Spanish), and ”Querido Detective” (Dear Detective, Spanish, for ”The Big Easy”). The materials consist of photographic paper, transparency film, and various paper products, dating from at least 1939 to the early 2000s. Burns in-house shipping is available.
