A Pair of Lane First Edition Mid-Century Modern Walnut Hutch and Credenza With Contents - This lot comprises a pair of Mid-Century Modern 'First Edition' walnut furniture pieces by Lane. The set includes a tall hutch/china cabinet and a matching low credenza/dresser. Both pieces are constructed from a medium-toned walnut and feature characteristic tapered legs and distinctive reeded/fluted sliding door panels. Internal drawer markings confirm the maker as ”Lane ALTAVISTA, VIRGINIA.” The hutch features an upper glazed display section with shelving positioned over a lower cabinet. The credenza is designed with a fluted sliding door cabinet on the left and three vertically stacked drawers on the right, which exhibit visible dovetail joinery.
