A Collection of Decorative Metal Buttons, Victorian to Art Nouveau - A collection of numerous decorative metal buttons, predominantly brass, bronze, and silver-toned alloys, meticulously arranged within blue-inked circles on a cream-colored mounting card. This diverse collection features buttons of various sizes, exhibiting a wide array of designs including intricate floral patterns, faunal motifs such as birds, lions, winged griffins, and dragons, figural portraits, and architectural or landscape scenes. Styles appear to span from Victorian through Art Nouveau and possibly into earlier or later periods. Notably, button depicting a winged lion bears the legible inscription ”VENEZIA,” translating to ”Venice.” Mounting card: 8.5 x 11 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
