A Collection of Vintage Equestrian and Western Themed Picture Buttons - A diverse collection of vintage buttons, primarily featuring equestrian and Western motifs. The assortment includes detailed designs of horses (depicting heads, full figures, and a three-horse chariot or stagecoach), horseshoes, and various related patterns. Materials comprise various metals, including brass-toned, silver-toned, and bimetallic examples, as well as iridescent mother-of-pearl or shell, and dark composite materials, potentially early plastics or resin, some with embedded or painted details. A prominent bimetallic button features a banner with the English text ”OVERLAND” above a three-horse chariot. The buttons are presented on a white card with hand-drawn blue circles indicating placement. Accompanying this collection is a separate group of smaller, hand-knotted thread or wire objects, some secured with safety pins, also displayed on a white card.
