A group of Amethyst-Toned Antique and Vintage Glass Buttons - This lot comprises a group of antique and vintage buttons, primarily crafted from glass in varying shades of purple, amethyst, and dark red. The buttons exhibit a range of styles, including faceted and molded designs, examples with painted floral motifs such as roses, internal foiling, and relief carvings. A prominent central button features a large faceted purple glass jewel set within an ornate gilt metal or brass frame. The buttons are presented on a white display card inscribed ”CARD #150⁰⁰” and ”25 AMYTHEST RARE”. Also included in the lot is a secondary card displaying various small, colored wire objects labeled with terms such as ”Swirl” and ”Metal Claw,” and dated ”4-14-89.” Card dimensions: 9 inches (22.86 cm) high x 6 inches (15.24 cm) wide.
