A group of Late Victorian to Art Nouveau Entomological and Naturalistic Buttons - A group of antique or vintage buttons, predominantly featuring entomological and naturalistic motifs such as bees, beetles, flies, butterflies, and botanical elements. The buttons are crafted from diverse materials including brass/bronze, silver-toned metal, black glass, turquoise glass, and enamel on ceramic or porcelain, with some incorporating small decorative stones or rhinestones. Styles vary from realistic depictions to highly stylized or intricate enamel designs, suggesting a Late Victorian to Art Nouveau period. The buttons are mounted on a cream-colored card, secured by safety pins visible on the reverse, with handwritten notations ”#29”, ”4-14-38”, and ”26” in the top left corner. Card dimensions: 9 inches (22.86 cm) high, 6 inches (15.24 cm) wide. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
