A Collection of Late 19th to Early 20th-Century Antique Buttons with Grape and Vine Motif - A group of diverse antique buttons, each prominently featuring a grape and vine motif. The designs vary from detailed naturalistic depictions to more stylized patterns. Materials include various metals such as brass, bronze, and gilt, carved hard rubber or early plastic in black and reddish-brown, and mother-of-pearl or iridescent shell, often combined with metallic overlays. Several buttons incorporate enamel or painted accents in shades of purple, maroon, and blue. The buttons are arranged on an off-white cardstock backing. Cardstock measures approximately 8.75 inches (22.2 cm) in height and 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) in width. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 am to 2 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
