A Collection of All Antique Buttons, Purple is Prominent - This collection of all antique buttons features prominent purple elements, comprising group of assorted decorative elements, predominantly appearing to be buttons or embellishments. These are meticulously arranged and individually affixed within hand-drawn circular outlines on a cream-colored cardboard sheet. The collection showcases a variety of materials, primarily glass in a spectrum of purple, amethyst, and dark red hues, with examples ranging from faceted stones and smooth cabochons to pieces molded with floral or geometric patterns. Various metal settings are present, including gold-toned on a large central button with embossed floral motifs and multiple purple cabochons, and a silver-toned setting surrounding a vivid magenta cabochon accented by small clear paste stones. Other notable forms include a gold-toned cylindrical piece set with group of purple stones and a button featuring a raised cameo-like scene, possibly depicting a ship. The largest central button measures approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. Burns in-house shipping is available.
