A group of Old Military Uniform Buttons - A collection comprising group of old military uniform buttons, meticulously arranged and displayed on a white cardboard board with handwritten annotations. The buttons, varied in size and design, are primarily crafted from brass or bronze-toned metals. Designs encompass a wide range of motifs, including military emblems such as eagles, anchors, crests, and numerals (”65”); organizational symbols like the Girl Scout trefoil, a lyre, a hammer and sickle, and various monograms; and marked names including ”SURY'S.” distinctive black button, possibly made of glass or hard plastic, features a design commonly associated with Confederate buttons and is secured with a wire shank.
